Single vehicle owned and used personally by any veteran who holds a current state motor vehicle registration card establishing that he has received a disabled veteran's exemption from DMV and has been issued disabled veteran's license plates as prescribed in VA Code § 46.2-739, or Single vehicle, displaying disabled veteran license plates, owned by a surviving spouse of a disabled veteran (as defined in VA Code § 46.2-100), or Vehicle displaying Prisoner of War plates, or Vehicle displaying Medal of Honor plates | VA Beach vehicle registration fees are not charged for these plates. |
