Motor vehicle crash investigation and reconstruction is essential to keep safe-driving issues in the forefront and to remind drivers of the importance of current traffic laws. Detailed descriptions, remarks, recommendations and other pertinent information may result from crash investigation and reconstruction efforts, all of which are used to prevent future crashes, injuries and fatalities in Virginia.
Crash Investigation and Reconstruction Training

Archived Crash Investigation Reports
A multi-disciplinary team of investigators sponsored by VCU has studied typical crashes and prepared a series of reports detailing their findings. Archived copies of these reports are available for viewing.
