This Virginia Pedestrian Safety Toolkit is for the Commonwealth’s counties, cities and towns to help us move toward zero pedestrian deaths.
Before using the toolkit, identify local pedestrian issues. Find out who is crashing, getting injured and dying in pedestrian-related crashes, and other related factors such as time of day and location. You can obtain this information by specifying report criteria and Creating an Interactive Data Report.
If you need help with printed copies of this toolkit or its contents, contact Lydia Adisu at lydia.adisu@dmv.virginia.gov.
