NORFOLK - The Norfolk/Widgeon Road DMV Customer Service Center (CSC), located at 850 Widgeon Road, will temporarily close for an interior renovation after close of business Wednesday, November 24.
During the renovation, customers have many convenient service options. More than 50 services are available at dmvNOW.com. If a customer needs to conduct business in person, they may choose to schedule an appointment or opt for walk-in service on alternating days at any of DMV’s CSCs, including the nearby Norfolk/Military Circle or Portsmouth DMV offices.
Appointments for service are available only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and can be scheduled by visiting dmvNOW.com/appt. Walk-in service is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (in offices with Saturday service). For vehicle-related transactions, such as registration renewals, titles, license plates, and decals, customers can visit a partner DMV Select location.
Customers may also make an appointment for convenient service at a mobile DMV Connect visit in the area at dmvNOW.com. DMV Connect will be at the Hampton Roads Kroc Center on December 13, 14, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29. Appointment times for these dates will begin opening in early December. Customers can conduct all DMV transactions with DMV Connect except vital records, knowledge testing, and road skills testing.
Improvements to the Norfolk/Widgeon Road CSC include a new countertop design to improve efficiency and customer flow, fresh paint, and updated lighting.
The CSC is scheduled to reopen Monday, January 10, 2022.
